Introducing JamBots: AI teammates that keep working
By Michael Sanford ·
Most AI assistants stop the moment you close the tab. You ask, they answer, and the next conversation starts from nothing. That is useful, but it is not a teammate.
JamBots is our answer to a simple question: what if a bot kept working after you left?
What a JamBots bot is
A bot in JamBots has one conversation that never resets. It keeps memory you can read and edit. It runs routines on a schedule. It has its own cloud computer, with a browser and a desktop, so it can do real work on the web. And it asks before it acts on anything consequential, such as sending, buying, deleting or posting.
What we will not build
Being clear about limits matters as much as the features.
- JamBots is not a model provider. You can bring your own key on every plan.
- Bots never run commands on your own machine. They work on their own computer.
- There is no visual workflow builder. A routine is a scheduled prompt, written the way you would ask a person.
What comes next
The first release covers accounts and workspaces, bots, memory, routines, computers, integrations through MCP, approvals and notifications on web, desktop and mobile. After that come Telegram, iMessage and SMS, voice, and paid plans with included model usage.
JamBots is a Sanford Labs product. It is in development now. If you want early access, join the waitlist.
